      "Brantley
      MONAHANS (SC)-Chester Veto Brantley, 70 of Monahans, was pronounced dead on arrival at Ward Memorial Hospital Sunday morning.
      Services will be at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Monahans Cemetery under direction of Wilson-Miller Funeral Home.
      He was born July 24, 1907 in Novice and had been a resident of Monahans since 1937. He was a retired Texas Electric Service Co. employee, a veteran of World War II and a Baptist. He was married on Aug. 18, 1945 in Monahans.
      Survivors include his wife, Effie Brantley, a son, Charles Brantley of Kermit; two daughters, Mrs. Ada Dell McMahan of Grand Prairie and Mrs. Christine Oligney of Las Cruces, N.M.; three brothers, Melvin Brantley of Odessa, E. B. Brantley of Lovington, N.M. and C. D. Brantley of Houston; a sister, Mrs. M.L. Wade of Odessa; five grandchildren and one great grandchild".
