    There is some speculation that the SHEETS originally came from Holland. I don\'t know if that is a tale that was passed from generation to generation or not. Most researchers think they came from Germany. My SHEETS family was among the early settlers of Hot Spring County, Arkansas. In the 1700\'s they were in Rowan and Craven Counties in North Carolina.
