Notes:

Margaret was alive on 04 Mar 1931. She was the informant listed on her husband, Frank (Francis) Baker's death certificate. The story is that she died on the train trip home to MN.

There are several members of the STRATHERN family buried at Pine Bend Cemetery, Rosemount, Dakota County, MN. (John L., Margaret HASTIE, Mary, Roland S., Roy W., Thomas W., Tillie, W.J., William, Walter and another William). There is also a Margaret S. BAKER buried there. We think this is probably Margaret STRATHERN BAKER. Her stone has 1857-1931 which matches our dates for her probable birth and death. (This information can be found in Debbie Boe's transcription of the Pine Bend Cemetery).

Margaret married Francis BAKER on 10 Jan 1879 in Rich Valley, Minnesota. Francis (son of Wyman BAKER and Harriet UNKNOWN) was born on 25 May 1855 in Minneapolis, Minnesota or Maine; died on 04 Mar 1931 in Masonic Cemetery, Rio Vista, California; was buried on 08 Mar 1931 in Masonic & Odd Fellows Cemetery, Grave 1 Lot 15 Section 2. 1. William Edwin BAKER was born on 21 May 1890 in Appleton, Swift County, Minnesota; died on 27 Dec 1947 in Spokane, Grant County, Washington; was buried on 31 Dec 1947 in Greenwood Cemetery, Spokane, Grant County, Washington.
2. Agnes Strathern BAKER was born on 10 Jan 1896 in Carthage, Jasper County, Missouri; died on 04 Aug 1972.
3. Blanche BAKER died in UNKNOWN.
4. Grace BAKER was born about 1884 in Minnesota; died in UNKNOWN.

William married Margaret HASTIE. Margaret was born on 01 Jan 1828 in Edgerton, Roxburgshire, Scotland; died on 03 Mar 1901 in Minneapolis, Minnesota; was buried in Pine Bend Cemetery, Rosemount, Minnesota. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
